It’s true that there are few more crowd-pleasing moves in football than jumping over defenders to gain extra yardage. Rutgers fans, for example, used to eat up the Leonard Leap by former running back Brian Leonard. However, such a leap – especially when it’s attempted over multiple defenders who aren’t even particularly low to the ground – isn’t always the best idea, as the Jets’ Dustin Keller found out against the Bills earlier in today’s game. You can see the result of the play above, and we’re just happy Keller was able to get up and walk away. The way he landed, this one could have been a lot worse.
