Emmitt Smith Is Throwing A Cowboys Super Bowl Class Renuion For His Charity Golf Tournament

Emmitt Smith has a charity golf tournament. It’s coming up this weekend, and the event kicks off Friday. In addition to the golf, though, you might remember Smith was on a few good football teams back in the day, and that Friday night kickoff event will pay tribute to what might have been the best of them: the 1992 Cowboys, the team that kicked off the ’90s mini-dynasty. A not-insignificant number of members of that team will be there, they’ll be interviewed by Newy Scruggs (you know, this guy), and Smith is making the rounds promoting the event:

That’s right: if you’re a Cowboys fan and you were hoping those Super Bowl teams all remained the best of friends and sat around with each other reminiscing about the good old days, alas, like most of us, they’ve gone their separate ways. Basically, this sounds like a high school reunion, but for Super Bowl champions. Hopefully it goes better than this.
