Five Things You Should See On The Internet This Evening, Including Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr: Badass

The best assorted links from across the web (and what you should watch on TV tonight) for Monday, January 16th, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The above photo, which proves that you can still look sharp even while you change the world, was taken in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1958. The entirety of MLK’s “I Have a Dream” speech, via Bomani Jones, can be read here. Here’s our starting five.

1. TODD HALEY THOUGHT HIS OFFICE WAS BUGGED, AND OTHER CRAZY THINGS ABOUT THE CHIEFS. The Kansas City Star portrays the Chiefs as the shouting homeless man of football organizations.

2. POOR GUY. Remember the man who predicted a Texans’ Super Bowl win with a tattoo? No? Welp, that run ended on Sunday, so we figured we’d remind you.

3. ELI MANNING AND OSI UMENYIORA WERE ALMOST NOT GIANTS. How the two most important players from Sunday’s win over the Packers almost became Chargers (and Ben Roethlisberger almost came to New York) one day in 2004.

4. FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! Any time you hear “lacrosse fight,” you can pretty much guarantee it will be a video of guys with WASPy-sounding names beating each other up.

5. NOT SPORTS RELATED, STILL IMPORTANT. Buzzfeed continues its series of calling out stupid people, this time with a collection of folks who thought they had off of work because of “MILK” day.

WHAT’S ON TV TONIGHT: Thunder at Celtics (TNT, 8 p.m.); Mavericks at Lakers (TNT, 10:30 p.m.); Pittsburgh at Syracuse (ESPN, 7:30 p.m.); Alcatraz (FOX, 8 p.m.); Die Hard (AMC, 8 p.m.); Teen Wolf (Encore, 8 p.m.); Armageddon (FX, 8 p.m.); Hostel (IFC, 8 p.m.).

AND, FINALLY TONIGHT: HOLY MOLEY.
