1.1. Korean Fried Chicken Wings
The Koreans know how to make a mean chicken wing, so they get chicken wings of the week honors.
2.2. Pulled Pork Cakes
This recipe, which takes something that is already amazing (pulled pork) and makes it even more amazing (by frying it and putting it in crabcake form) employs something called "Baconnaise, a tasty mixture of bacon and mayonnaise." Use pre-made pulled pork to cut down on prep time. You're all welcome.
"Poutine" is just a fancy French Canadian word for "french fries drenched in gravy." They are amazing, easy to make, and shareable.
4.4. The Juicy Lucy
One of the most famous burgers in America. If you buy some high quality beef and cook it just right, everyone you make this for will love you for eternity.
5.5. Grilled Kimcheese Sandwich
We're going to try to employ grilled cheese sandwiches, an underrated game day snack, into our weekly roundup as much as possible. This one is a bit on the fancy side, but if you have a significant other who appreciates a good grilled cheese sammie, you're pretty much guaranteeing you'll get laid if you serve them this. And football + food + sex = America.
6.6. Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
Don't let the veggies fool you: this is a clutch game day recipe. It takes two seconds to make, won't murder your stomach, and is pretty much the perfect thing to lay out if you've got in-laws coming over.
7.7. Chorizo Nachos
For if you're in a pinch and have a ton of people coming over. Buy all of the ingredients canned, and dress it up nice. You will be their hero, and they'll never know you forgot they were coming over until two hours before kickoff.
8.8. Honey Glazed Spareribs
If you have a bunch of kids flying around on game day, these ribs are a good way to introduce them to the art of grilling. It will keep them busy for like, .2 seconds, before their little kid ADD sets in and your hopes of setting your fantasy lineups are crushed.
9.9. Tandoori Turkey Kabobs
Kabobs are great if you have a bunch of friends coming over, and they don't have vaginas. Actually, even if they
do have vaginas, kabobs are still delicious. [Recipe]
10.10. Hangover Dessert Of The Week
This. Sweet lord, this. [Via]
11.11. Beer Of The Week
Bengali Tiger. It's a craft beer so you won't look cheap, but not
so crafty that you'll look snobby. It will make your beer knowledge seem more extensive than it actually is. [Review]
