The Giants wide receiver, who was just named NFC Offensive Player of the Week, didn’t make the trip to Carolina for the Thursday night game. Via the Giants’ official Twitter feed:

Nicks went for 10 catches and 199 yards last week against Tampa, despite not practicing all week with a sore foot. That foot injury was apparently aggravated on Sunday, and Nicks once again missed practice on Tuesday. Quick: pick up Ramses Barden! (Note: don’t actually pick up Ramses Barden unless you are very, very desperate. Just make sure Nicks is out of your lineup by Thursday at 8:20 EST.)
