Hard Knocks Recap: Shake Weights And New Stadiums (Video)
Rex Ryan set the bar pretty high for himself after last week’s F bomb-laden performance on the premiere of Hard Knocks. But after getting a a call from his mom and being criticized by Tony Dungy, Ryan seems to have cleaned up his act a bit.
Instead, the progression of Mark Sanchez, and the Jets preseason opener with the New York Giants, took center stage in the second episode of the season.
Oh, and Shake Weights. Steve Weatherford, Jets punter, decided to get his teammates a whole bunch of the unfortunately-held infomercial products. The Jets, predictably, had some fun with it. Video here:
We also got to peak into the relationship between Mark Sanchez and ageless wonder Mark Brunell, who serves as Sanchez’s mentor, and drops sage wisdom like, “It ain’t the arrow, it’s the Indian.”
But when it comes to Sanchez possibly meeting his college-age daughter, Brunell isn’t as willing to help the young quarterback out.
“No, that won’t happen. He’s not meeting my daughter. She already saw a picture of him, and she thinks he’s cute. I like the kid, but I don’t like him that much.”
