The Eagles’ Jason Babin Has Some Sort Of Fetish For Life-Threatening Situations

While NFL players are readying themselves for the upcoming season, Eagles defensive lineman Jason Babin is doing something that in no way is going help his body. Babin is on the record as saying he plans to participate in the annual Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain, tomorrow.
“It’s kind of a rite of passage,” he said. “It’s a stamp. I guess in my brain I have a figurative ‘man card’ that’s got certain punches that need to be punched out.”
Meanwhile, not all of Babin’s teammates are sold on his itinerary.
“I’m going to try to talk him out of it, if it’s the truth,” said QB Michael Vick. “I would much rather have him on my team this year than have anything catastrophic happen, so we’re going to keep him on the safe side.”
The catalyst in this whole fiasco is Babin’s odd obsession with putting himself in dangerous situations. Because football isn’t dangerous enough. Oh well, whatever helps you sleep at night… or lay there scared shitless. Do your thing, man.
