The Cowboys’ Jason Witten Takes Out A Cheerleader And A Doctor On The Sidelines

Tight end Jason Witten is one of the Cowboys’ most potent weapons on offense, but today against the Dolphins, he’s posing the most danger to people on the sidelines. Early in the fourth quarter, Witten caught a pass from Tony Romo, and in the process of being dragged down out of bounds, took a Cowboys cheerleader with him:

If the Cowboys aren’t careful, their cheerleaders might start thinking more highly of their opponents than the Cowboys themselves. Then again, if you’ll notice the cheerleader in the background in the aftermath of the takedown, she doesn’t appear too fazed: she’s shocked, but also looks like she knows she has a good story to tell.

We’re not sure the same could be said, though, for the next person Witten (a man who is, remember, 6-6 and 265 pounds) knocked over on the sideline: a Cowboys doctor. He appeared to be an older gentleman, and unfortunately we didn’t get a good look at him after the fact to determine whether or not he’d been traumatized:

What we did get, though, was a listen to a line we weren’t supposed to hear. After the doctor collision, a voice could be heard at the eight-second mark urging the sideline dwellers to “get the f— back.” We can’t say for 100 percent sure it was Witten, but given his experiences today, who could blame him?
