Jenn Sterger Interview: Says Favre Texts “Weren’t Flattering,” And She Stayed Silent To Keep Her Job

Part one of ABC’s three part interview with Jenn Sterger took place today on Good Morning America, and we learned… well, not a whole lot that we didn’t already know.

Unfortunately, today’s interview seemed to be a table setter for parts two and three, which will take place tonight and tomorrow morning respectively.

Today on GMA, Sterger told George Stephanopoulos she was approached by a Jets employee, and asked how she would respond if Brett Favre texted her.

“I’d say I like my job an awful lot,” says Sterger. “And I’ve been told I look remarkably like his wife. Have a good day.”

Favre, ever the persistent suitor, got her number anyway, and soon, the texts and voicemails began. Sterger says she wasn’t 100% certain the creepy messages she was getting were from the then-Jets quarterback, but when she started putting the pieces together, she realized it was him.

Stephanopoulos then asked Sterger if, since he was the biggest star on the team, there was “something to [the texts].”

“It wasn’t flattering if that’s what you’re implying,” Sterger replied. “He’s married, and more than anything I felt like it was intimidating.”
