Who Will Replace Chad Johnson As The Star Of Hard Knocks? Probably This Guy

After Chad Johnson’s unceremonious exit from the Miami Dolphins following a domestic violence charge — an exit that was captured by HBO’s Hard Knocks cameras, and which we posted on this morning — the show’s producers were probably wondering who would pick up all of the colorful slack Johnson left in his wake.
Enter offensive line coach Jim Turner, a former Marine with an accent and a penchant for expletives. After showing his linemen a video of the Dolphins cheerleaders performing “Call Me Maybe,” he made sure to note their improved demeanors with a crude drawing of raised-desks-by-way-of-boner. We love him already.
Is he this season’s Rex Ryan? No — I doubt he’ll get the camera time to take a star turn like that. But either way, he’ll be somebody to keep your eye on as Hard Knocks moves forward without Johnson.
