WATCH: The Jaguars’ 59-Yard Field Goal To Beat The Colts, From Multiple Angles

The Jaguars scored a surprising 31-28 win over the Colts yesterday, giving both teams .500 records through a quarter of the season. But in a matchup of stars like Peyton Manning and Maurice Jones-Drew, top billing went to Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee.

And with good reason – last-second, game-winning 59-yard field goals will do that for you. Scobee delivered the perfect boot at a time when his team needed it badly, sitting at 1-2, coming off consecutive 25-point losses, and having let the Colts tie the game in the final minute.

Luckily for the Jags, Scobee delivered, so at least for a short while talk can shift from “Will Jack Del Rio lose his job?” and “Will the Jaguars stay in Jacksonville?” to “Wow, big win for the Jags” and “Holy crap – 59 yards!”

At least that’s what we’re thinking, anyway. Two videos of the kick below – one’s the TV feed, and one’s a crowd reaction vid from the end zone Scobee kicked into. We’ll give the edge to the crowd video, personally: better quality than you usually get from those sorts of things, and who doesn’t love the crowd going crazy? Watch the videos below to decide your preference.
