Last night, Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch ripped off a 67-yard touchdown run that some are calling the run of the year (and one of the best runs in NFL playoff history). It certainly couldn’t have come at a bigger moment.
With his team up 34-30 with 4:20 left, the Seahawks were looking to keep Drew Brees and the Saints off the field for as long as possible. On a 2nd and 10, Lynch bulldozed his way past the first down marker, and then kept running, going through defenders like he was a green shell in Super Mario. He could not be stopped, rumbling and stumbling through multiple defenders. It was almost as if he was… invincible.
