Tim Tebow Didn’t Make The List Of Most-Liked NFL Players

Forbes has released a list of the NFL’s most and least-liked players, and there are five things that stick out to me:
1. Tim Tebow isn’t well-liked. The Jets backup didn’t even crack the top 10. This, despite being ranked by ESPN as the most popular athlete in all of sports in a poll conducted in January. We’re guessing ESPN is the one who miscalculated Tebow’s popularity, but that’s just a guess.
2. Cam Newton isn’t on either list, which is surprising. He seems like a prime candidate to be one of those “some people love him, some people hate him” guys. He’s likable because he’s talented and charismatic, not likable because of this little sulking phase he’s going through right now. Curious he’s not on either list.
3. Ndamukong Suh went from the most-liked player last year to the least-liked player this year. That’s what happens when you’re a dick on the field and a dick off the field.
4. Everybody loves Charles Woodson. Tied for 2nd this year, 5th last year. Seems like a cool guy, but that’s still a pleasantly high Q rating for a corner. It helps to play for the Packers (just ask Donald Driver).
5. RGIII and Andrew Luck didn’t make it, but they’ll dominate this list starting next year. Brandon Weeden won’t, though, because he’s already old as balls.
Here’s the Forbes list, as transcribed by Eye on Football.
