NFL To Start Testing For HGH Soon

The NFL and its players union came to an agreement Friday to begin testing for HGH after a meeting with U.S. House representatives.

The meeting with Reps. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Elijah Cummings (D-MD) was to settle a divide between the World Anti-Doping Agency and the NFLPA. The players’ union has previously insisted worldwide standards for naturally-occurring growth hormone did not apply to them, but it appears on the basis of scores of international scientific testimony, the NFLPA will drop its opposition.

The announcement came via NFL spokesperson Greg Aiello’s Twitter account.
