Titans Wide Receiver O.J. Murdock May Have Committed Suicide Outside His High School

25-year-old Titans wideout O.J. Murdock has died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds, according to a Tampa police report. Police are investigating it as a suicide.
Murdock was found in his car, parked outside his high school.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., officers discovered the victim’s body in his car in front of Middleton High School with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition where he died at 10:43 a.m. He is a Tennessee Titans football player.
Murdock missed both Titans practices this weekend for “personal reasons.” He signed with Tennessee as an undrafted free agent out of Fort Hays State, but spent all of 2011 on injured reserve with an Achilles injury.
Murdock transferred to Fort Hays State from South Carolina, and, as Eye on Football notes, he was teammates with Kenny McKinley, who died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds in 2010.
