Ravens Fan Throws Patriots Fan Through Window, And Vice Versa

Today in “Nothing good can happen in a Virginia bar after 2AM”: police in Fredericksburg say that Ravens and Patriots fans took turns throwing each other through windows at a nightspot early Saturday morning. According to the Fredericksburg news desk, the fight started because two groups of fans “expressed their loyalties to the opposing teams,” which I’m pretty sure is the basic formula for how sports-related barfights start.

The altercation began at 2 a.m. at F.W. Sullivan’s (try the shrimp salad!). A fan of each team was reportedly thrown through separate windows (parity strikes again), but the two groups had vacated the premises before police showed up.

An officer later came upon the three Ravens fans, who just happened to be walking down the street, bleeding profusely. The men told police they were attacked by a group of Pats fans, as they were leaving the restaurant while shouting, “Go Ravens!” Then, the window-throwing ensued.

30-year-old Brad Mullins of Gray, Tenn. (the Ravens fan who threw a Pats fan through a window) was charged with felony destruction of property. The Patriots fans, meanwhile, have not yet been located, which doesn’t seem fair considering, you know, how that game went.
