Sorry, sir, you are incorrect. I’m no lawyer, but I have good reading skills. He made a deal that allowed him to avoid his murder charges, by paying money, pleading guilty to a misdemeanor, and testifying against his friends.

And not that it makes me some sort of saint – just a human – but yes, I do care about the victims. It is an incredibly tragic story, regardless of Lewis’s involvement.

For all of the people taking up for Ray Lewis, go back and read about the actual case….. You’d be surprised. Basically, after tossing the evidence against him (his clothes didn’t even make it home? sure sounds like an innocent man) – he testified against his friends…and then paid off the victims’ families. (and court system?) Also, witnesses changed their testimony at the hearing and his little cohorts got off, too. More “charity” perhaps? So to recap, evidence (his clothing) disappeared – HE DID narc out his fellow people and he did pay the families…..Doesn’t sound “charity money” to me. Something that he doesn’t understand – his money after the crime doesn’t bring back those families loved ones. Thug – any station that hires him won’t have me watching it.
