Skip Bayless’ Love For Tim Tebow Now Has Its Own Auto-Tuned Tribute

ESPN First Take troll Skip Bayless likes Tim Tebow, and he’s not shy about saying sp. We know this. We also know that Tebow’s Broncos keep winning in spite of Tebow playing awfully for the majority of most games, and in part because he’s so good near the end of games. Also, that defense is fantastic.

And because the Broncos keep winning, Bayless can keep bragging. And he does. And First Take gets yet more mileage out of it. Today, in the wake of perhaps the Broncos’ wildest comeback win yet, First Take did arguably its wildest Bayless/Tebow stunt yet. To go through with it, they needed the help of DJ Steve Porter, who’s made some autotune mashups for ESPN in the past that we’ve rather enjoyed. He knows what he’s doing.

But this mashup is Skip Bayless yelling about Tim Tebow. So while the production value is as high as ever, and the video has its moments (Stephen A. Smith’s exasperated expression, for one), there are also times (again, not through fault of Porter’s) – mainly, the parts when Bayless is autotune-yelling about Tebow – where even Tebow himself might wonder if a merciful and just God would allow such a thing to exist.
