God’s Plan? Tim Tebow Booked Into Same Hotel As Massive Vegas Porn Convention

Today in delicious, delicious irony: Tim Tebow, the Evangelical Christian quarterback who once famously told reporters that he was still a virgin, stayed at the same hotel where the world’s largest porn convention was taking place. This news comes courtesy of a Vegas reporter wearing an eyepatch, which is the only place this news could’ve come from.

Reports Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, on Tebow’s stay at the Hard Rock:

That’s the last place the media would have looked because, as it turns out, here’s what Tebow probably knew when he checked in on Jan. 18: The Hard Rock was the host site of one of the world’s largest porn conventions.

The porn convention in question: the Adult Entertainment Expo, which is sort of the Super Bowl of porn conventions. Insert your own “at least Tebow made a Super Bowl” joke here.

Anyway, what Clarke notes is that it’s surprising no photographers got a shot of Tebow around any porn stars, which is a photo that possibly would’ve broken the internet. According to a local radio host, he spent most of the time in his penthouse, only venturing out to see Cirque du Soleil’s “O” at The Mirage with some of his friends.

He was later spotted at the Hard Rock ”hanging with some girls” (one would assume these were normal girls, not girls who have a DP scene to their credit). Also: he wasn’t drinking, tipped well, and essentially sounded like he was just being his devoutly religious self.

The internet will have to wait another day for its “Tim Tebow with Porn Stars” photo.

It is amazing to me that by living a life of conviction, Tim attracts the most vile comments possible. This is the difference between his life and theirs. They live in such depravity, causing them to disbelieve that anyone could not be trapped in the same hell as them, so they attack. Tim’s conviction is real, his belief in God is real and what he has is attainable to those who put their trust in God through his Son. He is just a young man, who has trusted God’s promises. Deal with it!

He stayed at a Vegas sin-center, and the Hard Rock is a place you can get a bellhop to order you up prostitutes (according to people I know who’ve held bachelor parties there) he earned the commentary, Swood. A better question for Tebow and his defenders would be: If the man had to be in Las Vegas on business, why didn’t he stay at a non-casino hotel (They exist, you know) or at a less high-profile casino?

In Vegas, you can go to any restaurant, casino or hotel and order a prostitute. The Hard Rock is a traditional hotel and casino. Christians can go to Vegas and have a great time, I’ve done it many times and not once ever ordered a prostitute, although I did see them everywhere, including IHOP. Believe it or not, being in Vegas does not negate his commitment to live cleanly!
