The Guy Who Called 911 On Chad Johnson Was Cool Under Pressure

Miami police have released audio of the 911 call Chad Johnson’s neighbor made the night of his arrest and while you won’t learn anything you didn’t know already, you can listen to the call for succinct, on location play-by-play of the night’s events.

The call was made by an anonymous neighbor whose house Evelyn Lozado went to after her incident with Johnson. And give it up for the neighbor here who handled the situation with aplomb. Imagine Chad Johnson’s wife stormed into your house with a cut on her forehead, alleging domestic abuse. Would you sound as calm, cool and collected explaining the situation to the dispatch as this guy?

And it’s not like he’s not a football fan and just doesn’t know who Chad Johnson is — he’s coming from a youth football game (which I can imagine he’ll have a fine lesson to teach the kids the next game he attends). He knows who Chad is. He knew him even when he was Chad Johnson the first time. That’s how long he’s probably known him. But he kept hammering home the point to not make a big fuss out of it, the guy is high-profile, his wife just needs some help.
