Thought This Jonathan Martin Harrassment Story Couldn’t Get Uglier? You Were So Wrong
What the hell, Dolphins? Is this football or a “Mad Max” movie? To quote George Costanza: “We happen to live in a society! …”
Every time that Richie Ingognito or his teammates get some kind of a foothold on the positive side of public opinion, another ugly allegation comes to light to knock them back down. And apparently the recipient of the alleged abuse, Jonathan Martin, has a lot of these, because his people are lobbing them out there like grenades each time the enemy gets close.
These latest two, if true, are the most damning yet.
First, the New York Daily News reported late Thursday night that there’s a 2012 police report which lists details of Incognito allegedly sexually harassing a female employee at a golf tournament.
Incognito allegedly harassed a 34-year-old African-American female volunteer at the annual Fins Weekend Golf Tournament on May 18, 2012, by touching her privates with a golf club and emptying bottles of water in her face, according to a police report obtained by Local 10 News in Miami.
Incognito finished his performance by emptying bottles of water in her face. The victim notified her supervisor of the incident, and the supervisor notified Dolphins security, which advised it would take care of the situation, according to police. The victim maintained that one of the event sponsors or organizers had witnessed the incident, but had done nothing to help. She also said that Nat Moore, a former Dolphins star and a team vice president who was at the tournament, had heard about the incident and apologized for what had taken place.
“(Moore) stated that the incident would be taken care of and handled,” the police report said.
The volunteer told Local 10 that she can’t talk about the incident because she had signed a confidentiality agreement.
Earlier Thursday night came a much cruder bombshell, if you can believe it. It’s pretty much too gross and unbelievable to fathom, and let’s just say that. even taken out of context, if true this sinks to the lowest level of this story so far.
On Thursday Martin’s lawyer released a statement outlining the harassment his client allegedly suffered at the hands of Incognito and some other teammates, and here’s an excerpt. Viewer discretion advised:
Now, thanks to the statement from Martin’s lawyer David Cornwell, we have more alleged evidence that Martin was bullied.
According to Cornwell, a teammate once said this to Martin:
“We are going to run train on your sister. … She loves me. I am going to f*** her without a condom and c** in her c***.”
Cornwell doesn’t specify which teammate delivered the alleged quote. He also doesn’t specify whether it’s a voicemail, text, or something said in person.
It’s getting so that every time on of these Dolphins voicemail/messages is read aloud. someone should finish it by saying “The Aristocrats!”
Only sadly, this is no joke.

So, anything else from this saga that’s going to sicken me? Probably, as it’s only 9 a.m.
