Titans’ Kenny Britt Shows Disturbing Lack Of Speed, Is Caught By Cops

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt was reportedly busted by police after a “COPS style chase” in Bayonne, New Jersey on Tuesday afternoon. If the reports are true, it would be the second time Britt was arrested for something traffic-related since January 2010.

According to this scouting report on Britt, showing quickness getting in and out of his breaks has always been a knock on him. In an apparent attempt to shed that image, the former Rutgers Scarlet Knight tried to make a clean break after stopping his car. Well, not really: he just kind of walked away.

Bayonne PD says after a few miles, Kenny just stopped and he and his passenger attempted to walk away from the car. During questioning, officers say the passenger tried to bolt on foot — FAIL. Officers arrested him for alleged possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.

Britt, for his part, was booked for 2nd degree eluding and obstruction, and had his Porsche impounded. Clean breaks: still an issue for Kenny Britt.
