A Young Girl Asked Roger Goodell A Question Today, And It Was Adorable (And Impressive)

We can say this pretty confidently – we wouldn’t have been as confident asking NFL commissioner Roger Goodell a question – about how player safety was impacted by a provision about the allowed number of padded practices in the league’s new collective bargaining agreement – as the young girl above seemed to be. Yeah, she tripped up a bit on “limited.” Then again, we would have tripped up over every word. That’s a big, highly-populated room she’s in.

And the question of player safety was one of the keys to the CBA negotiations that led to the lockout (as well as why the 18-game season idea never got off the ground), so this was a big issue she touched on. Goodell wasn’t just being nice because she was a kid…that was a solid question. Hell, at the rate she’s going, when she’s Goodell’s age, people like him will be cowering before her.
