Bruins’ Brad Marchand Would Like You To Know His Tattoo Is Not As Misspelled As You Think It Is

So the above image made the run of Twitter this weekend, and the athlete to whom the torso belongs — Bruins center Brad Marchand — has some things to clear up.

First of all, “Stanley” is spelled correctly, per his ESPN blog post. And “champions” just looks like it has an A where an O belongs, and it’s been fixed:

After I got it, I came in the room and someone was like it says champians … with an a. So I went back and the tattoo guy fixed it after that. It’s fixed now.

So there. Happy, hockey fans? In the future, may I suggest block letters for future tattoos? Or maybe henna.

    It’s STILL misspelled….there is a cursive N in champions. It says chanpions.
