The Western Conference’s top seed/Stanley Cup favorite among D.C.-area pomeranians Vancouver Canucks got off to an inauspicious playoff start last night, dropping Game 1 of their conference quarterfinal 4-2 to the Los Angeles Kings. While the Kings and coach Darryl Sutter got the upper hand on the ice, though, one young Canucks fan managed to get some measure of payback:
We’re sure every Canucks fan would have preferred a win, but for now that will have to do. And hey – it’s a long series. Hopefully a long series full of fans making weird faces for cameras.
