Hockey Player Takes A Puck To The Face, Somehow Remains On His Feet

Nothing says “tough guy” like getting hit in the face by a hockey puck while maintaining your balance and remaining on your feet. Or, in this case, your skates.
Midway through the third period of today’s game between the Boston Bruins and the Washington Capitals, defenseman Dmitry Orlov was drilled in the face by a Shawn Thornton wrister from about 4-5 feet away. Orlov immediately grabbed for his face, presumably to stop the bleeding, but still managed to keep his footing.
Think about that the next time you complain about getting a charlie horse. In the end, the Bruins defeated the Capitals 4-1.
