Here’s What It Felt Like To Be One Of The L.A. Kings At The End Of Game 6
As you may have heard, the Los Angeles Kings are Stanley Cup champions this year. And as the buzzer sounded on Game 6, clinching the title, the team did what teams always do when they win a championship: go nuts. This video, taken from the front row by the team pile-up, is just awesome.
Props to this fan for giving us such an up-close and personal experience. It will no doubt become a classic piece of footage. If, after watching this, you feel dizzy from the pounding on the boards, the screaming, the repetition of the words “We did it baby!” in your ear, then congratulations, you know what’s like to be an L.A. King after winning the Stanley Cup (kind of, sort of, not-really-of-course-but-let’s-pretend-shall-we).
And that, folks, is why they play the game.
