The Boston Bruins As 80s Sitcom Characters Is Fantastic
Do you like hockey? Do you like 80s sitcom opening credit sequences? If your answer to both of these questions is a resounding “yes,” the Boston Bruins are your team. Here’s a new video from the team, called “The Bear and the Gang: Introduction.”
This clip has everything: the basement rec room set, that yellow sitcom-y font (think “Full House” closing credits married to “Step By Step” opening credits), an actor credited as “And Featuring Actor’s Name as “Coach,” and plenty of saxophone, the world’s sexiest instrument. Never mind that this makes no sense in the context of the Boston Bruins, hockey in general, or the year 2012 — who has time to ask dumb questions when you can put on your headphones and be transported to a simpler time?
