The latest development in the Oscar Pistorius murder case of Reeva Steenkamp suggests that there may have been a love triangle between the two of them and a South African rugby player, Francois Hougaard. It hasn’t been confirmed, but it seems like one plausible explanation for the murder. So, who is Francois Hougaard?

- He is 24 years old. (Pistorius is 26).
- He is quite popular in South Africa. He is one of the best rugby players in the country. He plays for the Vodacom Blue Bulls. His Facebook page has almost 15,000 likes. He has over 67,000 followers on Twitter.
- The Mirror says that Hougaard and Steenkamp had a “close friendship” and that they “had reportedly dated in the past.”
