It’s Hard To Be The Crimestopper When You’re Getting Arrested For Domestic Assault

Aquille Carr, a 5-6 high school basketball phenom committed to playing at Seton Hall in 2013-2014, is more commonly known as the “Crimestopper.” Last year he earned the cover of Dime Magazine for his anti-crime feats, which stem from his city-wide attraction as a basketball star. When he plays, all of east Baltimore shuts down to watch him tear up defenses, including the criminal element.

Well, Carr, 18, was arrested Saturday morning for domestic assault, so it looks like even basketball couldn’t stop this law-breaking. Treshonda Williams, the 26-year-old mother of his child, Averi, is the reported victim.

Here’s more, via the Washington Post:

“‘Ms. Williams advised Mr. Carr that she does not wish to be with him anymore, and she told Mr. Carr that the relationship was over,’ an officer wrote in charging documents.

Williams said Carr asked to speak with her outside the school, and she went outside. An argument erupted, and she said Carr grabbed her by her shirt and threw her to the ground. He then is accused of kicking her in the back, and punching her in the head and face before fleeing in his vehicle, according to records.

The responding officer said Williams did not have visible injuries and refused medical attention, but complained of strong pain to her left arm and said she was unable to move it. A photograph of her face was taken as evidence, records show.”

Welp. There goes that nickname.

Maybe someone should investigate her dumb ass for statutory rape rather than her not being able to move her arm. Seriously he’s 18 and she’s 26? Basketball sure didn’t seem to stop her breaking the law. Whatever the laws in Maryland he seems headed for a great NBA career ending in being broke with 27 children like most losers in pro ball with no money.
