Justice! Man Who Knocked Kid Off Lawn Mower And Tebowed Has Been Arrested

Remember that crazy (note: partially hysterical) guy who jumped out of his car, clotheslined a kid on his lawn mover and Tebowed in celebration? Well, he’s no longer a free man thanks to a partial license plate and a witness identifying him in a lineup. JUSTICE FOR ALL.

The Smoking Gun has all the details:

“David Edward McCosby, 53, was collared for misdemeanor simple assault by the Shenango Township Police Department in connection with the August 27 attack on the 17-year-old victim.

Investigators report that McCosby has confessed to assaulting the boy.”

As for why a creepy older man with two chins would commit such a crime, that one’s still a mystery. The entire incident lit the internet on fire because Tim Tebow, but also because of the moral dilemma that it presents. The kid was injured, after all, and did have to suffer an attack via random Tebowing stranger. But crazed Tebowing criminals don’t come along every day to brighten your morning.

Seriously though, criminals are people too, and they enjoy internet memes just as much as the next guy. If McCosby (pseudo-Bill Cosby?) does end up securing a not guilty verdict, he’ll have to bait his accuser with an obligatory Tebow, right?
