Report: Jerry Sandusky May Have Been Involved In A Child Porn Ring

That’s right, the Jerry Sandusky nightmare might not be over. According to CBS, Sandusky is being investigated for soliciting minors across state lines with trips and gifts, as well as the possible sharing of child pornography found on his computer.

Here’s CBS with more:

“A source has been told that child pornography was found in at least one of Sandusky’s computers. According to the source, there is no evidence that the pornography was of his victims. There is also no mention of a ring or sharing of boys with others. CBS News investigative producer Pat Milton reports that a second source said that none of Sandusky’s victims have indicated that there was shared sex with them, Sandusky and any other individual.

The investigation is being carried out of the U.S. Postal Inspectors office in Harrisburg, Pa. and the U.S. Attorney Office of the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

‘I haven’t heard a thing about this latest allegation,’ Sandusky’s attorney Joe Amendola, told CBS News. ‘Jerry continues to maintain his innocence. We think the allegation is ridiculous.’”

Sandusky’s attorney, Joe Amendola, outright refutes the allegations, as is his job, but we’ll see where all of this leads. At this point, nothing should really come as a surprise anymore. Then again, Sandusky’s other attorney, Karl Rominger, notes this:

“I think if there would have been any evidence there, we would have seen that presented at state court. The fact that it wasn’t should suggest the fact that there was no evidence on the computer.”

While Rominger does bring up a good point, prosecutors didn’t necessarily need to rush the evidence to court and charge Sandusky – he was already facing 50+ counts of sexual abuse.
