That World Series parade that the Cubs have been putting off for 108 years is finally happening, and isn’t it weird how Chicago public schools already had planned to take the day off, even when the team was down 3-1 in the World Series?
Anyway, Grant Park was packed three hours before the parade/rally began, and the festivities are happening right now. When they opened the gates to let people into the park, a scary rush of humanity ensued, as seen below. At one point it looks like a group of security people attempted to stop the crowd, to no avail.
