Iranian Soccer Players Suspended For Butthole-Oriented Goal Celebration

The Iranian Football Federation has suspended Persepolis teammates Mohammed Nosrati and Sheis Rezaei indefinitely for a goal celebration it has deemed “immoral.” By “immoral,” we assume they’re referring to the whole “digital insertion” aspect of it.

As you’ll see in the following video, which we’ve deemed the freaky-deakiest goal celebration ever, Rezaei jumps on top of a group of his teammates. As he celebrates, Nosrati comes over and gives him a nice “How do ya do?” Earlier in the match, Rezaei pulled a similar maneuver on another teammate.

Both players have said that they weren’t trying to offend anyone. Regardless, the game (and their celebration) was seen by millions in Iran, which, as you could imagine, is not exactly the most tolerant country when it comes to butt-squeezing goal celebrations. In addition to their suspension, the players have been fined $40,000 each.
