Soccer Manager Jose Mourinho Has Some Conspiracy Theories About Archrival

After Real Madrid’s defeat on Wednesday in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals to Barcelona, Jose Mourinho went on a tirade against Barcelona.

In what regard? Every possible regard. Watch the rant below.

Mourinho admitted to not knowing the core reason why Barcelona is willed to win by the powers that be, but he has stood by his conspiracy theory. In fact, his most high-profile player, Cristiano Ronaldo has endorsed the theory.

As with any sporting controversy nowadays, there is video footage chronicling the perceived favoritism. This is from last week’s Copa del Rey final, which Real Madrid actually won.

And this is from Wednesday’s first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Does Mourinho have a case? Maybe, but UEFA, the governing body of European soccer, definitely has a case: it’s opened an investigation into Mourinho’s remarks. Mourinho began the harangue by saying, “If I tell UEFA what I think and what I feel, my career ends today.”

Hyperbole. His career will not end, but UEFA will definitely let its stance be known.
