“OK, everyone, when I say ‘śnieżkami’ start lobbing your snowballs at the players. Ready? … Snieżkami!” There’s nothing like a group of rowdy Polish soccer fans pelting some innocent soccer players with snowballs in the most one-sided snowball fight ever.
This is pretty hilarious, as it brings back memories of the 1995 “snowball game” in New York, between the Giants and the San Diego Chargers. Surely a few rowdy football fans tossing snowballs pales in comparison to a few hundred football fans chanting and then, in unison, aiming and firing, right? Maybe it’s because an “excited” group of Polish soccer fans scares us more than a couple of drunk guys from New Jersey with a snowball in their hands.
