Man Spices Up U.S.A.-Brazil Soccer Blowout By Running On Field, Gets Destroyed By Cop
There wasn’t much for a U.S. soccer fan to enjoy in last night’s 4-1 friendly loss to Brazil at FedEx Field. A 4-1 result says it all – Brazil dominated. 20-year-old phenom Neymar had his way with the American side. The U.S. side was overwhelmed to the point that coach Jurgen Klinsmann took a page out of the Gregg Popovich motivational playbook and said his team has to get “nastier.”
For fans in attendance, this was a dreary evening. Well, unless you were rooting for Brazil… or if you were the gentleman you’ll see below, who found his way onto the pitch despite rather clearly not being a player:
The cop got in a pretty good tackle there, but we feel like he didn’t go all-out enough in his chase. It was a light jog until the very end – if you really want to go full Sheldon-Brown-on-Reggie-Bush (yes, I will use any excuse to link to that hit), you need to get into a sprint. Then again, maybe the guy was just worried about what he might do to the streaker if he went all-out… or he just wanted to go easy on him, considering what he did was about all the amusement U.S. fans in attendance could take away from last night.
