Wayne Rooney Taken Off Pitch On Stretcher With Huge Leg Gash

Wayne Rooney came on as a substitute in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Fulham today, barely making an impact on the game. But he did leave a mark – in blood, that is. After stepping up to challenge a shot from Fulham’s Hugo Rodallega, Rooney’s exposed leg caught the unintentional cleat of Rodallega, leading to this nasty gash and his removal from the pitch via stretcher. According to the Daily Mail, Rooney could be out up to four weeks.
Rooney takes it like a man, hobbling around before eventually falling to the ground. But seriously: GAAAAHHHH!
