On the off chance you have a favorite horse-related Twitter account, it’s almost certainly @Horse_ebooks. But we’re here to tell you today that the beloved e-book-shilling spambot has some horse-tweeting competition – from the horse who missed a shot at making history today.

If you recall, we power ranked the names of the horses in the Kentucky Derby, and two of the top three in those rankings placed. We took a break during the Preakness, but we’re back to rank the horses during the Belmont Stakes. Yes, we still included I’ll Have Another.

Are you not normally a horse racing fan, but were roped in by the chance that I’ll Have Another could, at Belmont Park on Saturday, become the first horse in 34 years to win racing’s Triple Crown? Well, feel free to stop caring, because I’ll Have Another is out.

It was already known there would be no Triple Crown this year, but as announcer Tom Durkin pointed out, owner Winstar Farm at least bookended the Triple Crown with Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes wins. Their horse Drosselmeyer took the latter today, after Super Saver won the Derby.
