Well, that was a pretty quick penance period. Eight months after being fired by Arkansas following revelations of affair-having, mistress-job-getting, and a coverup involving the both of them and a motorcycle accident, Bobby Petrino is back in college football: he’ll be introduced as the new head coach at Western Kentucky later today. According to a tweet from ESPN’s Joe Schad, Bobby Petrino is out as Arkansas’ football coach. The news will presumably be made official at a news conference later this evening. Wow.
Via Fox News: “Six months of telephone records show that former Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino was in frequent contact with his mistress, including conversations before their motorcycle crash that led to his firing.”
