Delonte West’s Twitter is like Christmas morning right now – gifts upon gifts of gems everywhere. A few days ago the guard was cut by the Dallas Mavericks, so naturally he’s looking for a new team. But there are a lot of teams in the NBA – 30 of them, to be exact – and sometimes it can be difficult to narrow things down. So where has Delonte turned for basketball support? Bleacher Report, of course.

Did you know Delonte West was sick? Well, you do now. At the very least, we know now, and we want to share this information with you. In an example of gross (pun intended) overuse of the social media site “Twitter,” West shared his gastro-intestinal issues with his followers, and subsequently, the world. Whatever else you might say about Delonte West, you have to admit he’s never boring. (Take that zoo trip with Lamar Odom.) And as he showed last night, even his technical fouls are… different.

During a 76ers-Bulls game, you might not expect the name of LeBron James to come up in any capacity, other than “LeBron James does not play for either of these teams.” But one Chicago-area man (or perhaps a visitor from Ohio with nothing else to do) decided that this was the proper forum to insult LeBron and his family. Fair game, or really not cool?

The Dallas Mavericks, winners of the 2011 NBA Championship, are making the customary trip to the White House on Monday to meet with President Obama. However, one Mavs player will not be allowed to make the trip, since he has been “banned” from stepping into the White House, thanks to his checkered past.

Would you hug a guy who supposedly banged your mom and psychologically sabotaged your 2009-10 season? You wouldn’t, so case closed on this rumor.

LeBron James and Wally Szczerbiak were Cleveland Cavaliers teammates during the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons, but after a recent interview Szczerbiak gave, we can’t picture the two palling around anytime soon.

The details are a bit hazy on this one, but Delonte West will remain a Boston Celtic, Danny Ainge is pissed off, and a sportswriter for Hoopsworld has some explaining to do.

Okay, it’s safe to say Delonte West rates at an 11 on the unintentional comedy scale. This isn’t quite on the level of his “sock metaphor” or his KFC freestyle, but it’s still Delonte West talking into a camera, which is, in and of itself, priceless.
