Last weekend, Savannah State was demolished by Oklahoma State 84-0 in Stillwater. This weekend against Florida State, it could be worse. And the sports books have noticed.

When news broke last week that Florida State might join the Big 12, it was just another reminder that conference realignment will never end – there’s too much money on the line. But what if changing conferences became part of the college football system itself – like promotion and relegation in European soccer? it could work.

Florida State’s women’s basketball team beat North Carolina State 67-64 on Friday, thanks to a three-pointer by guard Leo Rodriguez in the final seconds. Dramatic finish…but we don’t know if any finish is dramatic or just plain crazy enough to warrant the call it received.

Florida State scored a huge win over no. 3 North Carolina on Saturday, 90-57, and afterward, the Seminole fans took the court to sing DJ Khaled’s stadium rocking favorite, “All I Do Is Win.”

Michigan State handily defeated Florida State last night, 65-49, delighting the East Lansing home crowd. One moment during the first half, though, proved far less delightful: during one early timeout, MSU cheerleader Taylor Young took a nasty fall.
