A while back, Comedy Central’s acclaimed sketch show Key & Peele did a sketch about football player names, and how they’re sometimes… a bit unusual. Well, after the jump, we present some terrific names of high school football hotshots, and prove that the duo wasn’t exaggerating too much.

Remember Danny Almonte, the Little Leaguer who fudged his age to participate in the Little League World Series? Or Fausto Carmona? Or Miguel Tejada? There’s a long list of athletes who have changed their age to prolong their careers. Today we’ve stumbled upon another, except it’s a kid sneaking back into high school football.

Much was made earlier this football season about a particularly… we’ll call it striking uniform worn by Atlantic High School in Florida. Well, the company behind that uniform designed another one. And it is way, way worse. See it in all its glory, or something, after the jump.

Yes, that little dot circled (fine, ovaled, GEOMETRY-NERDS), is a football, being deliberately thrown into the ground. And yes, this play went for a touchdown. Yes, it was intentional. Do yourself a favor and watch this awesome high school football trick play.

Last week at a Texas high school football game, The Nelson Bobcats were punting from their own 27-yard line to the Guyer Wildcats. Except this routine football play went awry thanks to a severe gust of wind, which knocked the punt backwards in mid-air.

Police in Prue, Oklahoma say a 26-year-old English teacher took a group of football players to her house after a scrimmage, supplied them with alcohol, then took one of the boys — whom she had apparently been carrying on a romantic relationship with — into her bathroom so they could have intercourse. That’s three bad life choices in one sentence!

A high school football team in Maryland has removed five players from its roster after an incident that occurred after an away game in North Carolina on Friday night. The incident involved prostitutes, a hotel room, and a clandestine mission to sneak said prostitutes into said hotel room. Details, after the jump.
