Everyone knows that the NCAA’s recruiting rules are both behind the times and unfairly punitive. But it appears that the NCAA has taken it one step further, banning coaches from “altering photos for recruiting purposes.” Which, in short, essentially bans them from using Instagram.

There are many reasons one might wish one could trade places with LeBron James. If you did, you’d be the best basketball player on the planet, for one. But you also wouldn’t be able to post a photo to Instagram without getting the types of comments you’ll see after the jump. We’re not sure it’s worth it.
