Well, David Stern usually finds a way to make things interesting. He went on Jim Rome’s show earlier today, and over the course of their discussion, a question came up that comes up often in discussions of Stern’s NBA, with varying degrees of seriousness: is the draft lottery rigged? Stern’s response was… telling.

Despite her aspirations outside of sports (which are real), and despite the growing sentiment that she’s on the way out at ESPN, she sounds like most other people whose contract with an employer expires in less than two months: really unsure of what’s about to happen.

Former NFL linebacker Bill Romanowski, who once ended the career of a teammate when he crushed his eye socket during a training camp fight, was a guest on Jim Rome’s radio show today. And by the sound of it, he does not think highly of one controversial NFL player.

There’s not much else left to say, really. Jim Rome’s a divisive personality. Not everyone’s a fan, but the flipside of that is others swear by the guy. And when you have enough fans, odds are you’re going to have a least one huge fan who’s also a tattoo enthusiast. And if they’re really, really fond of you, you might wind up with the guy you see above. Yes, that is his calf. Yes, that is a giant tattoo of Rome on said calf. No, we cannot imagine loving a sports media personality to a point where a tattoo like that becomes a possibility. But yes, we applaud this man all the same.
