The recruitment of star Columbus, In. quarterback Gunner Kiel was one of the most unpredictable of the class of 2012. First, he committed to Indiana. Then, he de-committed and opted for LSU. Then, suddenly, he was enrolled at Notre Dame. LSU coach Les Miles wasn’t thrilled about that last part.

Bobby Petrino‘s Arkansas Razorbacks went into Death Valley last night with a chance to make a statement, and for awhile there, it looked like they might. The third-ranked Razorbacks were ahead of  #1 LSU 14-0… but were then outscored 41-3 the rest of the way, en route to a 41-17 defeat. And Petrino was pissed.

So far LSU has dominated Florida today. It looked like the Tigers were going to jump ahead 21-0 in the 1st quarter when Les Miles called for what was at the time a successful fake punt resulting in a touchdown run by punter Brad Wing.
