As we posted earlier today, Amar’e Stoudemire fouled out against the Heat in the Knicks’ season-ending loss last night… then, following that, got made fun of by the fire-extinguisher-case-punch-referencing Heat PA announcer. But then the Heat backtracked. They shouldn’t have.

We mean that in a good way! During last night’s series-clinching Game 5 win, James (listed at 6’8″) went up and blocked this dunk attempt from Tyson Chandler (7’1″). Conventional wisdom says Chandler is a big enough man to not get blocked by a small forward/power forward hybrid. Then again, there has never been an athlete — or a human being — quite like LeBron James, and when he’s involved, you can throw most conventional wisdom out the window.

It was a rough series for Amar’e Stoudemire, and it had a rough ending. Not only did he suffer an injury and public humiliation, not only did the Knicks lose last night… but Amar’e fouled out. And poor Shane Battier caught the brunt of his frustration.

Thankfully, it appears that the Knicks won’t be rushing Jeremy Lin back for a series they’re going to lose anyway. More, after the jump.

We’re already seeing people complain that LeBron James can’t finish because the Miami Heat lost to the New York Knicks today, but with 25 seconds left and the Heat down by 4, LeBron drove for this ridiculous off-balance left hander.

Chris Bosh had a really good day yesterday. Early on, his wife gave birth to the couple’s first child, son Jackson. And later, he made it back to New York to play against the Knicks in a game the Heat won. How did Bosh celebrate? You know how he celebrated.

This is getting serious, people. This season, Chris Bosh has made an occasional habit of videobombing postgame interviews, especially those featuring LeBron James. And it was fun… until it spiraled out of control.
