Alain Berger of FC Bern doesn’t pull any punches, nor does he pull his gloves off to throw them. Going toe-to-toe with Sebastien Schilt of Gottéron, Berger decided he didn’t want to “go there”, and instead opted for some Olympic-style boxing. Watch him bob and weave his way out of any integrity as a hockey player.
The Bruins lost in a shootout against the Canadiens last night, falling 6-5. It was a relatively big game, as far as middle-of-the-regular-season games go, so upon letting up the winning shootout goal, Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask was not pleased. His plan for letting off steam, though, didn’t go quite how he wanted. At least we hope this wasn’t what he wanted.
Growing up a young lad playing youth sports, you didn’t necessarily like wearing a cup. Everybody wanted to be the cool kid who free-balled because, let’s face it, jockstraps are for squares. Thankfully, a fan brawl that broke out last night during the Bruins’ 1-0 win over the Canadiens last night fell somewhere between those extremes.
Boston Bruins announcer Jack Edwards is absolutely on fire during these NHL playoffs. First, he screams “GET UP!” at a Montreal Canadiens player, and now…this. Video after the jump.
Goalie Tim Thomas had a sensational season for the Boston Bruins…but he never came up bigger than he did last night.
The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens have a famously heated rivalry…and sometimes, that intensity boils over into moments that might not be classy, but sure are nice for ratcheting up intensity.
