Sports Illustrated has obtained a report that details the pathetically racist actions of Rice Athletic Director Rick Greenspan. They’re absolutely awful.

Chelsea captain John Terry, who called Anton Ferdinand a rather derisive term earlier this year, was on trial with the English Football Association concerning his racist comments. A decision was reached that his defense regarding the statement was “implausible, improbable and contrived,” and he was handed a four-match ban and a £220,000 fine.

The Kansas City Star has quite the policy in place for its readers: Due to the perceived racist nature of the term “Redskins,” the paper does its best not to refer to the Washington Redskins by its nickname. The majority of mentions, according to USA Today, come from wire service stories.
