Violence at football games seems to be an epidemic in recent years, and last night was the latest episode involving gun fire. During the third quarter of last night’s Arizona-Oakland preseason matchup, a shooting took place in the northwest parking lot of the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, after a fight.

Who knew Jim Mora was such a comedian? He takes over at UCLA, makes a joke about shootings near USC, and then doesn’t really apologize! Now that’s how you bring a team back to relevance!

Not many details have emerged as of yet, but it appears that former Auburn football players Ed Christian and Ladarious Phillips were shot and killed last night, and current offensive lineman Eric Mack sustained a gunshot wound but will survive.
